The Festool 486242 chipguard deflects routing chips away from you when edge trimming, aiding in dust collection and helping to ensure good visibility. It’s especially helpful when using the optional Edging Plate 486058 for flush-trimming. The deflector pivots and is height adjustable to fit your needs. Clear plastic for optimum visibility. Use with the OF 1010 router.
