Description
The Carrier HT01BD702 Transformer reduces incoming electrical voltage to the lower level required by control circuits. Its 460V primary winding receives the supply, while the 24V secondary winding provides power for connected low-voltage controls. Rated at 75VA, it supplies the available apparent power for the connected load, with magnetic coupling transferring energy between the windings while keeping the two voltage levels electrically separated. Installed within the control circuitry of HVAC systems, the transformer supplies thermostats, relays, contactors, and related controls. Its separate primary and secondary windings provide the required low-voltage source from the higher incoming supply.
